WBI 2017 OUTLOOK | Populism and Great Optimism
Decades of political dysfunction based on intractable party partisanship has opened the door for an outsider to be elected President of the United States. It seems voters are angry and fed up with professional politicians and are willing to roll the dice on giving the country’s top job to a businessman who has never held public office. And far from being a negative, it seems voters prefer a successful business builder and manager to allocate the resources of our great Nation.There is a tide of optimism sweeping the U.S. based on a pro-growth policy platform anchored by the slogan of “Make America Great Again”.
