Mr. Robert “Bob” Confessore serves as Vice President and Investment Committee Member of WBI. Since joining WBI in 1986, he has spent his career developing comprehensive wealth-management strategies for high-net-worth clients and families of significant wealth. In addition to his role at WBI, he is President and Managing Director of Hartshorne Group. Mr. Confessore is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Mr. Confessore is also President of Millington Securities, a broker-dealer and registered investment advisor. He leads the firm in providing institutional clients with innovative solutions to help them stand apart from the crowd.
A frequent speaker at client and investment seminars, Mr. Confessore has been providing financial planning advice and management to individuals and corporate clients since 1983. He provides leadership and direction to the firm’s associates to ensure clients receive the highest levels of service and expertise possible. Mr. Confessore’s service-driven business philosophy focuses on building lasting relationships and partnerships with the firm’s clients.
Mr. Confessore earned his Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in 1977. He enrolled in the College of Financial Planning Certified Financial Planner Certification Program, and earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification in 1990. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and currently maintains his FINRA Series 7, 24, 55, 63, 65, and 99 licenses.
Over the years, Mr. Confessore has been an active participant in the company’s “Gives Back” program, where he volunteers for charitable organizations, such as Task Force Dagger Foundation which serves wounded servicemen and women and their families, participates in the Support-A-Soldier program as well as the Food Bank of Monmouth & Ocean Counties. He has also served on the Board of the Homing Corporation, a local nonprofit transitional housing program for homeless women and their children.
