Chief Executive Officer – WBI Technologies 

Mr. Schreiber is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of WBI’s business operations. As Chief Investment Strategist, Mr. Schreiber’s responsibilities include market and economic analysis, portfolio strategy, and product design and development.

Mr. Schreiber is integral in keeping WBI at the forefront of investing across all types of products, including separate accounts and exchange-traded funds. In 2014, Mr. Schreiber was essential to WBI’s headline-making debut of 10 actively managed exchange-traded funds, setting an industry record with $1 billion in assets on the first trading day. Mr. Schreiber was also a pertinent asset to the launch of our unique trend-following SMAs and ETFs in 2019.

Prior to assuming his current duties, Mr. Schreiber served as President of WBI from 2012 to 2019 and as Vice President of Business Development and advisor to the Investment Committee from 2007 to 2012. As Vice President of Business Development, Mr. Schreiber expanded distribution from one independent broker-dealer partner to banks, wirehouses, and institutional clients. He has led the way in increasing assets under management and building a national sales force since joining the firm in 2005.

Mr. Schreiber is CEO of WBI Technologies. Mr Schreiber brings his industry experience to the development of proprietary financial software and technology. WBI Technologies introduced Cy, a revolutionary advisor-assisted robo, that combines financial planning concepts with custom-tailored portfolios optimized utilizing quantitative analytics and advanced mathematics.

Considered an expert in his field, Mr. Schreiber appears frequently in the press to provide his perspective on investments, markets, and economics. He has been quoted by Bloomberg, the U.S. News and World Report, Investment News, and The Wall Street Journal among others. Mr. Schreiber’s white paper on Capital Power Ratio was published by Financial Advisor Magazine in December 2012. 

 

 

Mr. Schreiber earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Education from the University of South Carolina. Mr. Schreiber was named Outstanding Young Alumnus of 2018 by his alma mater for his contributions in the financial services industry as well as his philanthropic efforts.

Matt Schreiber is Chief Executive Officer of WBI technologies, Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Strategist of WBI, a Voting Member of WBI’s Investment Committee and an owner of the firm.
