Mr. Matthew Bromberg, Esq. serves as General Counsel of both WBI and Millington Securities.
Before joining in February of 2016, Mr. Bromberg was an Investment Management Partner in Reed Smith’s Financial Industry Group. Prior to his role at Reed Smith, Mr. Bromberg was a Managing Director and Senior Managing Counsel to The Bank of New York Mellon in its Investment Servicing Division.
Mr. Bromberg has over 20 years of experience advising mutual fund and exchange-traded fund clients, as well as investment advisors, sponsors to funds, and managed account platforms. He provides advice in connection with fund formation and structuring, along with a wide variety of other arrangements including custody and collateral management, administration and accounting, and transfer agent services. Mr. Bromberg also has experience relating to regulatory matters including designing and implementing compliance programs and in supporting investment advisors in regulatory reporting and through regulatory inspections and examinations. In addition, Mr. Bromberg has also regularly advised clients on disclosure matters, commercial contracts, and board governance.
Prior to Bank of New York Mellon, Mr. Bromberg was Vice President and Counsel at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and was also previously a Partner at King & Spalding.
Mr. Bromberg earned a Bachelor of Arts from The State University of New York at Albany and his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Brooklyn Law School.
