Desktop Support and Audio/Visual Specialist

Position Summary

     The primary purpose of this position is to provide support for end users with computers, printing, scanning, audio/visual, network, telecom, mobile devices, technology configuration, and other areas of  assistance.  

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provides timely technical support for end users with hardware and software related issues
  • Configure and troubleshoot desktop systems, audio/visual solutions, voice systems, printing and scanning solutions, and mobile device technologies
  • Install third party applications, and manage updates as needed
  • Manage software licensing for all third party applications
  • Efficiently manage Active Directory for users and computes
  • Manage hosted e-mail for all users
  • Manage firm’s anti-virus solution
  • Manage conference rooms equipment (projectors, microphones, video and audio conferencing, etc.)
  • Manage in-house studio equipment and software (cameras, lighting, microphones, audio and video editing, etc.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Collaboration with all levels within the team and working with other teams
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent job experience
  • 2-4 years’ experience 
  • General PC and MAC support including desktops, laptops, and tablets
  • General PC Repair / Upgrades (video cards, RAM, etc.)
  • Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, MAC OS
  • Active Directory administration
  • General understanding of networking (switches, firewalls, routers, etc.)
  • Installing and troubleshooting printers, scanners, etc.
  • Mobile Device Management – iPhone, Android, etc.
  • Third party software installations and upgrades
  • File Server permissions

  • VOIP – Hardware or Software
  • Audio / Visual (projectors, microphones, sound and video editing, etc.)
